                                                   Chuck close

This project is a Chuck close style artwork. Charles Thomas "Chuck" Close is an American painter and photographer.  He is known for making hyper realistic paints of the human face. The process of this goes as follow: start by drawing 1 inch Top to bottom, left to right on the paper. Then i drew the face in the grid. For the face i chose light yellows and light brown paint to paint inside of the squares. For the hair i colored the grids with dark black and green paint. My background consisted of different shades of blue. For the Lips i chose blues and purples and the shirt i stuck to a pink color scheme. When the base pain dried, i then drew different patterns in each of the squares of the picture. The person in the picture is one of my favorite you-tuber filthy frank. I enjoy his special form of entertainment and i felt at that time he was the perfect person for me to draw. My final result might not be exactly like the original picture but i do believe i did a very good job of completing the project. I wouldn't have changed anything because i felt my artwork paved its own way and i am Happy and proud of the outcome. This was a very interesting experience and a new technique that i have never done before that i would recommend to anyone that have an interest in doing art.

                                               Mixed Media

This was a very Fun project that i wouldn't mind doing over again. This type of artwork is called Mixed media. I started by taking a picture of myself and then drawing the the other lines of my face on the paper. I the went and cut out images out of magazines and newspaper to put in the open spaces on my drawing. I then placed the pictures down on to the paper using glue to keep the pictures safely onto the paper. In the area where my neck is located. i choose to use colored Sharpe markers to draw zen doodles in the area. I then drew the Jamaican flag in the the area where my face is located. I used a lot of greens an yellow in this picture with some red here and there. I am happy with the final result of my project i only wished i could have gotten more images to place on my drawing.
